Incoming message from Santa!
Editor's note: While Santa is out looking for Ajax and Scooby, the reindeer taken by Dolores Flemspackle, he has promised to send us updates on his progress. We reprint his email for you with his permission.
My Dear Friends at the North Pole (and around the world, too!)
Ho ho ho! It's been a busy time out here! Looking for reindeer is hard work! Luckily, I have Holly Elf with me, and not only is she good company, she's got the best eyes of any elf ever! Together, we found the Yeti who took Ajax and Scooby from the stables. He doesn't know why Dolores Flemspackle wants them, but he has told us that she plans on doing something with them that will make her company--Flemspackle industries--very, very rich!
I don't know about you, but I think it's sad what some people do for money. They don't seem to care about who--or what--they hurt to make it. That's a mighty sad way to live, if you ask me.

Anyways, good news! Holly Elf has said she's going to get the Santa Spotters back together to help us track down the reindeer! Hopefully, some more boys and girls will join them, and send us notes if they think they've seen them!
And more good news! Waldo Elf is with our Reindeer, too! He's managed to sneak away with them, and hopefully, he'll be able to send us notes as to where they are.
I miss The North Pole. Is everything going well in my absence? Bernard: are there still a lot of kids sending in Christmas Lists? Gizmo: Is the Appendapulator still appendapulating, and pumping out those presents? Smitty: I noticed my sleigh was pulling a little to the left the last time I took it out--can you take a look at that as well?
Well, Holly and I have to get going. We have a note from a Santa Spotter here who says she thinks the reindeer might be in Syracuse, New York!
Give Mrs. Claus a big hug and a kiss on the cheek from me!
