Christmas is Coming!

Editor's Note: The North Pole Times is THE newspaper of the Christmas Elf community. Each year, we let non-elves (such as yourself) to read about the activities here at the North Pole. And each year, Santa himself writes a note welcoming you to the paper:

Welcome, everybody, to the North Pole Times!

Up here at the North Pole, things are starting to kick into 'high gear!' The elves all have a bit more spring in their step, the reindeer have been training all year for the Reindeer Games--which make them super-ready for that big flight around the world on Christmas Eve! Can you believe it's less than a month away? In some ways, it feels like we just finished last Christmas, but in other ways, I feel like it's taking forever to get here! Either way, it's exciting!

If this is your first visit to The North Pole Times, I invite you to spend some time looking around. My friend Elvin Elf has done a wonderful job on this site! There's games to play, pictures to print out and color, recipes to try and a whole lot more! And remember to come back every day between now and Christmas to find out what's going on at The North Pole!

Well, I've got to get back to work. Right now I'm going over the Christmas Wish lists from Saskatchewan, Canada. Have you filled yours out yet? Later on I'm going to visit my friend Gizmo Elf--he's my Chief Inventor Elf--because he's built something that he's told me is "out of this world!" I wonder what it could be?
