The Case of the Missing Gift

[Back on the Super Secret Case]

It’s me Super Secret Jack Spinner Specialized Sleuth and my side kick The Cosmic Kid Zachary and we’re back on the case. I have received an interesting phone call from Mrs. Claus in which she requested our services. Mrs. Claus informed me that at a Holiday get together a gift that she has gotten Santa Claus mysteriously vanished. Mrs. Claus needs Santa’s gift by Christmas. The clues we have so far is that the gift has been separated into four parts, each part has two pieces. Are you ready to take this adventure? OK, good! Glad to have you along. Cosmic Kid, are you ready to take part in this adventure? “Cosmic Kid is ready!” All right, then we are all set to solve the CASE OF THE MISSING GIFT. Let’s head out!

Our second stop has brought us to Juneau, Alaska and boy is it cold. We are near a frozen pond in which our clues have led us to this point. I don’t seem to see any clues. Do you see any clues Cosmic Kid? How about any of you at home? “Yes. Look, Look! I see somfin siney,” shouts the Cosmic Kid. Wow, you see something shiny, where? Does everybody at home see it? I knew it; you guys are doing an excellent job. Well, it looks like that shiny object is in the middle of this frozen pond, but how do we get to it? OK, we have quite the track to get to the middle of this pond. We have to walk across this ice on top of the pond and hopefully get to the clue. Just remember kids, don’t try this at home, and always be safe. Are you ready Cosmic Kid? “I wready!” Cosmic Kid yells. Lets do this!!!

[by Super Secret Jack Spinner] All right, we have arrived at the spot where the shiny object is. Oh no, it looks like our possible clue is stuck underneath the ice. We are going to need help for this one. Looks like I am going to have to dial in a favor for this one. Let me pull out my Super Secret Sleuth phone because we’re calling our good friend the Yeti! Hey Yeti, Super Secret Jack Spinner here, and I need your awesome help. We have encountered a clue that appears to be under the ice. Do you have any suggestions as to how we can get this out? “I know how to get that clue out. You and the Cosmic Kid are going to have to answer a Christmas Riddle” Yeti says. “The Christmas Riddle is this… What do you get if Santa goes down the chimney when a fire is lit?” the Yeti asks.

That is a tough one. Does anybody know the answer? Cosmic Kid, do you know the answer? “Yes, I do.” All right Cosmic Kid, lets hear the answer. “Crisp Cringle” the Cosmic Kid yells. “That’s correct!” Yeti laughs. Wow, Great job Cosmic Kid. Did all of you at home get the correct answer? I knew it, because all of you are Super Smart! “All right, now that you have answered the riddle correctly, you need to place your hand over the clue and turn your hand counter clockwise 90 degrees. Then a compartment will open and you will receive your two missing pieces.” All right kids, let’s head off to our next location. Where that will be, well, I can’t say. That’s a SECRET. Bye Yeti, thanks again for you help. Say goodbye Cosmic Kid. “Goodbye Cosmic Kid!” Cosmic Kid says. You are hilarious. Join us next week at a new location as we continue to search for new clues in the CASE OF THE MISSING GIFT. Be safe, and see you soon!
