Doll Designer Denies Diva!

Santa's Fashion Designer Stays Put

[Doll Designer Denies Diva!]

Louis Elf, Santa's Chief Fashion Designer Elf, has confirmed to the North Pole Times that he has turned down a job designing for a well-known Pop Star Singer.

"That's right," said Louis, "I told her I was flattered to be asked, but I'm very happy working for Santa here at The North Pole." When asked why he turned down the chance at fame and fortune in Hollywood, Louis said "Fame and fortune sound good, but sitting down to one of Mrs. Claus' dinners with my Elf friends sounds even better!"

Louis has been working at The North Pole as Chief Fashion Designer for three years. This year, Santa also put him in charge of designing dart guns. "There's so many interesting shapes and colors to work with," said Louis excitedly. "It wasn't until Waldo Elf showed me that they also fired foam darts that I knew they did that too!"

[by Jiller Elf] Waldo was one of the first Elfs to congratulate Louis on his decision to stay. "Well, the way I look at it, you can't spell 'Fashionable' without 'Elf," said Waldo.

"Really?" said Louis.

"Well, I guess you could." Walso admitted, "but it would come out as 'ashionab.'

Louis Elf chuckled and shrugged his shoulders at the little Elf. When asked if he had ever thought about designing a new set of clothes for Waldo, Louis laughed harder and admitted, "To tell you the truth, I'd be happy just to get him into clothes that are at least come close to being the right size!"
