With the Christmas season in full swing, Santa decided to make a tour of the world today. He had arranged to have groups of 'Santa Helpers' meet him in several cities. The Helpers are the Santa Claus characters often seen in shopping malls, department stores, churches, recreation centers, or even ringing bells next to kettles.
"There's a lot of worried people out there," santa told The North Pole Times, "and I wanted to make sure the Helpers were doing their best to remind the boys and girls--and grownups too--that there's someone out there that loves them and wants the best for them!"
Santa met with hundreds and hundreds of helpers, discussing subjects as simple as the best way to use your belly muscles when going 'ho ho ho!' to the complexities of dealing with children with a hundred items on their wish lists. And at the end of each meeting, Santa made sure that every helper got a handshake or hug from Santa, as well as a plate full of Mrs. Claus' famous Christmas cookies!
At the end of the day, Santa came home, tired and happy. At his house at the North Pole, Mrs. Claus smiled as a familiar figure in red walked through the door and called "Ho ho ho! I'm home!"
"Welcome home, Santa!" said Mrs. Claus. "How was your trip? I've got today's Reindeer Games recorded on TV if you want to watch them..."
Just then a familiar figure in red walked through the door and called "Ho ho ho! I'm home!"
Mrs. Claus looked at the two Santas in her kitchen. The two Santas looked at each other. "What's going on?" asked Mrs. Claus.
Just then a familiar figure in red walked through the door and called "Ho ho ho! I'm home!"
And another familiar figure in red walked through the door and called "Ho ho ho! I'm home!"
And another familiar figure in red walked through the door and called "Ho ho ho! I'm home!"
And then Bernard Elf burst through the door (pushing aside a familiar figure dressed in red) and announced "Santa! You need to come outside!"
Santa and Mrs. Claus followed the Elf outside--and saw a whole town square filled with Santas!
What's going on? Where did all the Santa Clauses come from? Keep reading The North Pole Times to find out!
