Even though Santa has been zooming around in space since Thanksgiving, he’s still checking in with children all over the world! He brought his wow-wee-whipper-doo laptop with him when he and Waldo Elf were accidentally launched into orbit on the Santa Shuttle.

“I was really busy going through the wish lists that kids were sending to Santa,” reported Smitty Elf, Santa’s Wish List Organizer. “I started to worry about how we would have Christmas if Santa is still in orbit on Christmas Day. Then I realized that if I was still getting wish lists, Santa must be getting them too, since I don’t see the lists until AFTER he does! So, I emailed him a letter, and sure enough, he replied!”

“I should have thought of that!” said Jiller Elf, who has been working in the North Pole broadcast room since Thanksgiving. “I’m glad we can get in touch with Santa, but we STILL don’t have any way to track the Shuttle.”

“Let’s take it one step at a time,” said Bernard Elf. “I’m sure we can figure out a way to spot Santa in orbit. But for now, we can keep in touch with him. In fact, he’s sending me a letter… or a later letter that he wants published in The North Pole Times!”
