Where's Santa Now?

Santa Sends Email from England

[Where's Santa Now?]

Waldo Elf sat at the computer, reading the latest email sent by Santa. He had been popped out of the North Pole weeks ago during a demonstration of a magical toymaking machine, and has since only been able to communicate using Petey, his Portable Digital Elf.

Dear North Polers:

Remember how I said I thought I was in Texas? Well, was I ever wrong! It turns out I'm in Epping Forest, in England! It's a huge expanse of woodlands on the edge of London. You may wonder why I got so confused, since, after all, I fly all over the world, but remember, I see most of the world from my sleigh!

At any rate, I wandered through the forest for a while, until I found a building. It turned out to be the Coopersale Hall School. Inside, I found a huge wall of shoeboxes.

You might wonder what a huge wall of shoeboxes was doing in a school. I know I was! It turns out that each of these boxes was filled with toys and supplies, all destined for families in Eastern Europe, where many people live in poverty. The children of Coopersale Hall School put together these gift boxes--155 in all--because they realized that some of these families would get very little else for Christmas!

I love finding things like this out! I'd also love to find out that you will be bringing me back to the North Pole soon--there are so many places and people I want to reward this year.

Hope to see all of you soon!

Ho Ho Ho!

Santa

"Well," Waldo said to himself, "it looks like I'm going to have to get Santa back myself."

Can Waldo actually get Santa back to the North Pole without anyone else's help? Keep reading The North Pole TImes to find out!
