Spotters BIG Help Spotting Santa

Ali, Jiller Track Down Leads

[Spotters BIG Help Spotting Santa]

Ali Elf's feet hurt. She had been walking through the city all day, trying to track down Santa. Well, it wasn't really Santa--it was Waldo Elf in Santa's body. (Editor's Note: If that doesn't make sense to you, read some of the past issues of The North Pole Times.)

Ali and Mrs. Claus had been all over the city, looking for Santa. They had received a number of leads from many Santa Spotters, and they were doing their best to follow up on as many as they could. And although they had met a lot of people who had seen Santa, they themselves had not found him!

Mrs. Claus looked at her phone and sighed. "More Santa Spotters have written in!" she said. "We've gotten reports from Sandy in Berlin Germany, and here's one from Jeff--he's right around the corner!"

The two hurried down the street until they came across a hot dog vendor, who was finishing up with a customer.

"Are you Jeff?" asked Ali.

"That's me! Jeff the hot dog man!" said Jeff proudly. "What can I get for you? How about a dog with relish, hot sauce, sauerkraut and mustard?"

"Oh my!" said Mrs, Claus."That sounds delicious!"

"We're looking for a Santa Spotter named Jeff," said Ali.

"That's me too!" said Jeff. "I had a guy come through here who looked just like Santa, except he was wearing green and had broken glasses. And instead of wanting a hot dog with mustard, he wanted strawberries with mustard!"

"That's him!" said Ali.

"That's it!" said Mrs. Claus.

"What's it?" asked Jeff.

"We've been trying to track down Santa for days," said Mrs. Claus. "I think it's time we got him to come to us--and I know just how to do it! But first, give me one of those hot dogs!"

"With pleasure!" said Jeff.

"No," said Mrs. Claus, "with mustard!"

What does Mrs. Claus have in mind? Will she find Santa? Will she get heartburn from that hot dog? Keep reading The North Pole Times to find out!
