Santa Honors Reindeer at Closing Ceremony

The competition is over - it’s time for the awards

[Santa Honors Reindeer at Closing Ceremony]

The Ice Palace is packed here at the North Pole, and the reindeer are about to enter. It’s time for the Closing Ceremonies for this year’s Reindeer Games!

The competition is over now, and it’s time for the awards. As fate would have it, each reindeer won a gold medal in the Games. That’s one gold medal each for Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen! And a pat on the antler for each reindeer, as well, for all the events where they couldn’t quite finish first, but still gave their best effort.

Santa is entering the Ice Palace now, and has a gold medal for each of the Great Eight.

[by Timbo Elf] And the reindeer are marching into the Ice Palace, too, and the fans are offering plenty of applause!

“Great job by all the reindeer. It was a very good Reindeer Games,” says Santa. “We’re definitely ready for Christmas Eve, when we hope to bring joy and good will to so many children around the world. God bless the little ones!”

And with that nice thought, the Reindeer Games come to a close. Thank you all for checking in and reading our stories. Merry Christmas to everyone! Be sure to check back next year for more excitement. ONLY on The North Pole Times! #1 in Santa’s News! Trusted Worldwide!
