S'mores Hot Chocolate

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • 1-2 drops vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 graham cracker, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons mini marshmallows



PROCEDURE:
  1. Place milk, cocoa powder and sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium/medium-low heat, whisking frequently, until warm (but not boiling).
  3. Add 2 tablespoons chocolate chips and whisk constantly until the chocolate chips melt and distribute evenly into the milk.
  4. Whisk in vanilla extract.
  5. Brown marshmallows under a broiler or with a kitchen torch.
  6. Mix the marshmallow with the graham cracker crumbs and the remaining chocolate chips and sprinkle on top of the hot chocolate. 
  7. Drizzle chocolate syrup over top, serve immediately.
