1 cup chopped figs
1 cup dried aprocots
1/2 cup candied orange peel
1 cup toasted almonds
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp lemon or orange juice
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
Place figs and apricots through food chopper using medium blade.
Add orange peel, cherries and nuts, then add honey and fruit juice.
Blend well with enough juice to hold together.
Take heaping spoonfulls, shape into balls between wet palms of hands.
Roll into confectioners sugar.
When set, wrap in wax paper and store in air tight container.
Makes two doz balls.
