Trouble with Santa’s Sleigh?

Super Secret and the Cosmic Kid are on the Case!

Super Secret Jack Spinner the Specialized Sleuth and his Mighty Sidekick Zachery the Cosmic Kid were called into a super-secret meeting with Santa Claus. Shhhhhh… don’t tell anyone, ‘cause it’s a secret.

“Super Secret, I need you for a case immediately! The Dodger-Bobber Widget is missing from my sleigh,” cried Santa.

“Dodger-Bobber Widget?” replied Super Secret Jack Spinner with a confused look on his face as he scratched his head. “Yes, the Dodger-Bobber Widget!” explained Santa, “It doesn't dodge bobber’s, it bobs and dodges around obstacles while I’m in flight! If I don’t have that widget, I’ll have to slow down so I won’t crash! This could mean some presents won’t be delivered until Christmas afternoon!”

“Maybe the widget has been stolen!” Super Secret blurted. Santa and the Cosmic Kid shake their heads. “Ho, ho, no I don’t think it was stolen,” Santa responds with a chuckle “everyone at the North Pole is really in the Christmas spirit. No one here wants to hurt Christmas, we work all year to make it a success.”

Super Secret tells Santa he and his Mighty Sidekick Zachary the Cosmic Kid would get right on the case. “Cosmic Kid, are you ready to help me solve the case of the Missing Dodger-Bobber Widget?” “I sure am Super Secret! Let’s get going.” replied the Cosmic Kid.

They proceed through Santa’s Village to investigate and get more information about the widget’s whereabouts. They question all the elves and search all their houses for the missing widget. “Why are we searching the elves houses?” the Cosmic Kid asks. “Someone stole it!” shouted Super Secret. “I’m sure of it!” The Cosmic Kid retorts “Shouldn’t we check in with Gizmo Elf? He’s the one who invented it and maintains the sleigh, he must know where it is.” Super Secret looks at the Cosmic Kid, pats him on the head and kindly brushes his idea off.

While searching the elves houses, they look everywhere! They search in trashcans and closets, underneath beds and blankets. They searched under stovetops and countertops and between all the trinkets, yet they’re still unable to find the widget. They run into Waldo Elf who asks “Super Secret, What is it that you’re looking for? Maybe I can help.” “I’m afraid that information is a super secret” said Super Secret Jack Spinner as he and the Cosmic Kid continue their search.

[by Super Secret Jack Spinner] “I really don’t believe someone from the North Pole would steal it” states the Cosmic Kid “maybe it just fell off. Or maybe it…” “Yes, Yes!” interrupts Super Secret. “I knew it all along, it fell off! That’s exactly what happened! Let’s retrace Santa’s test flights to see if we can find it.”

Will Super Secret Jack Spinner the Specialized Sleuth and his Mighty Sidekick Zachery the Cosmic Kid find the widget as they retrace Santa’s test flights? Did the Dodger-Bobber Widget fall off Santa’s sleigh while on one of those flights? Will Christmas deliveries run late?
