On Thanksgiving, Santa Claus and Waldo Elf were blasted into orbit aboard The Santa Shuttle, an unfinished spaceship. While both are safe, they can’t land yet! Luckily, Santa can use his Wow-wee-whipper-do computer to stay in touch with everyone at the North Pole. But time is running out, and the elves need to figure out how to bring Santa back in time for Christmas!
Toy Production in Trouble
Toy production is falling behind schedule, according to Adamup Elf, Santa's Chief Toy-counting Elf. "We've been so busy trying to rescue Santa that we haven’t been focusing on our work," Adamup reported. "The only area that’s ahead is Doll-making.”
Louis Elf, the new Doll Fashion Designer, jumped in. "That’s because my exciting new designs are inspiring everyone in the Doll shop! Just wait until you see the amazing 'Santa in a Spacesuit' doll. It’s fabulous!"
"Your designs are great," Ali Elf added, "but remember, we were counting on Waldo to help in the Doll Shop this season. Without him, we didn’t expect to make so many dolls!"
Louis was surprised. "Could Waldo really have caused that much trouble?"
"Absolutely!" Ali replied. "It’s not that he doesn’t follow directions—he just follows them the wrong way! Once, he was supposed to box toys, and next thing we knew, he was at the gym punching them!"
Can They Save Christmas?
Louis pondered this for a moment. "Is there any way we can get Santa down and keep Waldo up there instead? Can we make enough toys for Christmas?"
Will Santa (and Waldo) make it back in time to deliver all the presents? Keep checking the North Pole Times for updates!
