Santa’s Nice List: Toomer’s Top Find

It’s that time again—Christmas fills the air, and joy is everywhere!

The Terrific Toboggan coughed, sneezed, then whooshed like a bottle rocket—“Hold fast! Compass set to Kindness,” I shouted. The needle twitched north-ish, the bells went tinka-tink, and off we zipped, skimming rooftops so close I could smell French toast wafting in the air.

Hi kids! Toomer Elf back again for another season on the Terrific Toboggan! Three-foot-two, clipboard ready, jingle hat steady. I zip around the globe to spot children doing good deeds and bring you only the top Terrific Tasks—right here on my Terrific Task Tuesday report! When the Toboggan’s bells go tinka-tink, it means kindness is close.

Speaking of kindness—hello, Ohio! We whooshed over a Cincinnati crosswalk. A puff of wind flipped a young girl’s folder open, sending her art pages flying like tiny kites in the winter sky. One helper stepped from the line. Noah bent low and scooped up every page. He checked the name in the corner and, with a friendly smile, returned the bundle to the unsuspecting, pink-cheeked girl. What a fantastic deed! I sent a quick text to the Big Boss (red suit, round belly—you know the chap), and—boop!—Noah earned a shiny spot on the Nice List.

The Toboggan’s bells jingled again—tinka-tink!—another glow! We followed it to London, England.

There was Oliver.

Terrific Task: helped tidy up at home during the busy holiday season—pitching in through the festive rush.

What matters most is the kind choice Oliver made. That choice showed care and responsibility—the heart of a Terrific Task. I tapped a Double-Sparkle Alert to Santa himself. My screen lit up: “Ho-ho! Top spot today!” Then Santa stamped a bright #1 on today’s Nice List page for Oliver.
