Help the North Pole track Santa’s orbit

Listen to this story

Editor’s Note:
With Santa lost in orbit, every elf at the North Pole is stepping up in new ways to help save Christmas. Today, Jiller Elf has written a special message for all our readers — and we’re delighted to share it.

Dear Friends of the North Pole,

As many of you already know, Santa Claus has been accidentally launched into space. Gizmo Elf and the Workshop Team are hard at work building a rescue rocket, but there’s one big challenge…

We’re not entirely sure where Santa is in orbit!

That’s why we’re calling on our most important helpers: you.

Over the years, thousands of children, families, and Christmas believers around the world have helped us track Santa’s Christmas Eve flight. And now, more than ever, we need your sharp eyes again.

[by Jiller Elf]

Becoming an Official Santa Spotter is easy:

Just look up at the sky!
If you see a fast-moving light…
a flicker…
a tiny sparkling streak…
or anything unusual zipping across the stars — it might be Santa’s shuttle!

Once you spot something, Click Here and tell us the city or town where you saw it. Your report helps Mission Control update Santa’s orbit and guide Gizmo’s rescue rocket.

And please keep looking — twice a day if you can!
The more sightings we receive, the more accurate our tracking becomes. We'll even dispatch a special team of elves to investigate promising leads.

We know we can count on our trusted Santa Spotters to help us bring Santa home safely.

Thanks — and keep watching the skies!

Warmly,
Jiller Elf
