The elves were impressed with Toby's plan

The elves were all ears waiting to hear Toby's thoughts. They were so excited and ready for another mission.
"What's the most spectacular thing you've ever seen?" Toby asked his friends.
"Santa Claus on skates," one of them said.
"Mrs. Claus chocolate cherry cookies," the other was guessing.
Fairy dance.
Is it a brand new robot toy with laser eyes?
Snowman on a frozen lake?
The elves listed everything they could think of.
"Oo-oh, I know," Waldo raised his hand. "Christmas light show."
"Close, but not quite," Toby said. "Let me give you a hint. It's whizzing, dazzling, sparkling, glittering, twinkling, crackling, and bursting."

But the elves just looked at each other. They had no idea what Toby was talking about. Toby waited for his friends to guess the answer, but it didn't happen. He waited and waited, and eventually, he sighed and rolled his eyes.

"It's fireworks, duh," Toby said and presented his brilliant plan to the others, "First, we'll find the fireworks that Santa is saving for the New Year's celebration. Then we'll tie Chris to the rocket and light the fuse. The rocket will take off, fly around, reach the sky, and then Kaboom!"

Awesome.

The elves were impressed with Toby's plan, so they got to work. They scattered around Santa's village in search of all the necessary tools. They found fireworks in the pantry, matches in a drawer, and a rope in the barn. And when they brought everything they needed, Toby picked up the jar and grabbed Chris.
