The Reindeer Games continue today with the final round of the Speed Skating event at the Hoojamawazit Skating and Ice Cream Palace. As always, the Palace is packed for this thrilling event, and today, it’s more crowded than ever! The Speed Skating final has become the most anticipated event of the season, with everyone at the North Pole eager to see the reindeer race.
Yesterday’s first round saw Comet, Blitzen, Cupid, and Dancer advance to the final. Now, the Great Eight Reindeer are lined up and ready to race at blazing speeds around the icy oval. It’s time for the grand finale!
Rudolph kicks off the race, and the reindeer zoom around the first turn and into the backstretch. On the backstretch, Cupid leads Dancer by half an antler, with Comet and Blitzen close behind.
As they approach the final turn, the race is neck and neck. The reindeer charge towards the finish line at full speed, and the crowd is on the edge of their seats!
And then… Whoosh! The reindeer cross the finish line almost simultaneously. It’s an incredibly close race, but after reviewing the replay, the winner is clear. Comet takes the gold, and Blitzen finishes second.
Comet is now the sixth gold medal winner of this year’s Reindeer Games! What an exciting finish to the Speed Skating event.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for the seventh event of the Reindeer Games: the fun Obstacle Course!
